What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by a website. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage in your browser. They can be strictly necessary for a service to work, or optional where they support statistics or marketing. German and EU rules require clear information and, for non-essential technologies, consent in most cases.

What tron2pay uses today

The guidebook currently uses browser local storage with the key cookie_notification to remember that you have acknowledged the consent banner. This prevents the banner from appearing on every page load. The value is set when you choose “Accept all” on the banner. The legal basis for this preference storage is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a usable interface) and, where consent is collected via the banner, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

We do not presently run third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking pixels on tron2pay.world. Server logs described in the privacy policy are separate from cookies and are processed to operate the host.

Duration

The local storage entry remains until you clear site data in your browser or until we change the storage model. It is not an HTTP cookie with a separate expiry date, but it functions as a preference store on your device.

How to manage preferences

You can delete local storage and cookies for tron2pay.world through your browser settings. After deletion, the consent banner may appear again. You can also contact info@tron2pay.world if you have questions about the technologies we use. Browser settings differ between vendors; consult your browser’s help pages for steps.

Future changes

If tron2pay later introduces analytics or embedded media that set non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and request consent where required before those technologies run. Essential technologies required to deliver the site securely may continue under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR where applicable.

Technologies in brief

Local storage key cookie_notification: stores whether the banner was acknowledged; set on this device only; not sent as a third-party cookie. Hosting logs: IP address and request metadata processed on servers in order to deliver pages, as described in the privacy policy. Newsletter form: the email you type is sent to signup.php on tron2pay.world and is not placed in a tracking cookie. WhatsApp and telephone links open external applications; those providers apply their own terms once you leave tron2pay.world. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts; your browser then communicates with Google’s servers. If you wish to avoid that request, a locally installed font stack still renders the page in a readable sans and serif.
